About the project
Strands Hair Care is an innovative company that takes a personalized approach to hair care by using molecular hair analysis to create custom products tailored to individual needs. By analyzing your hair data, scalp condition, and lifestyle factors, Strands is able to offer a truly bespoke hair care experience.
When Strands approached us, they needed a website and mobile platform that would reflect the highly personalized nature of their products. Their vision required not just a standard e-commerce platform, but one that could deliver a deeply customized user experience. We were tasked with designing and developing a Shopify website that allowed for intricate product customization, ensuring that every step of the purchasing journey aligned with their unique offering.
This project was particularly challenging because it demanded that the website accommodate a high level of personalization, mirroring the company’s commitment to custom solutions. Our team worked to create a seamless experience, ensuring that the site’s functionality perfectly matched the tailored products they provide. We integrated multiple customization features across the site, enabling customers to easily input their hair data and receive personalized product recommendations, making sure the digital experience reflected the brand’s innovative and customer-first approach.
Our Solution
We were tasked with designing and developing over 100 custom screens for both the web and mobile applications, ensuring a cohesive and seamless experience across all platforms. Our team delivered fully functional web and mobile sites that not only provided an intuitive user experience but also aligned with the client’s brand vision and business objectives.
In addition to the website, we also created a robust and secure private Lab Information Management System (LIMS) tailored to streamline and manage the client's data more effectively. This system plays a critical role in managing the molecular hair analysis data, allowing the client to deliver personalized recommendations accurately.To further enhance the customer experience, we developed custom Shopify themes that catered to the unique needs of the client’s customer journey. These themes were designed to be flexible, ensuring that each interaction—from browsing to purchase—was optimized for ease of use, personalization, and overall satisfaction.
